Here's my latest scrapbook creation! I took the inspiration for the colors {bubblegum, Ocean, Breeze, and Citrus Leaf} from the invite I made for my daughter's birthday party. Surprisingly enough we found a cake premade with the green and blue accents that couldn't have fit her color scheme any better! The layout is from Imagine; Everything in Its Place. I altered the way they put the photos so I could add more. I'm pleased with how this turned out. Now if I could just catch up with the rest of the year! :)

Calendars, Calendars and MORE Calendars!

A close up of one of the covers.

Back at the beginning of November I was asked to come up with a birthday calendar that others could recreate to keep birthdays and other important dates on. Each month is a 6x6 square. I have cut over 50 kits and who knows how many of those kits I actually helped assemble. Many people did them as Christmas gifts. Last week I finally got around to doing some of my own for family gifts. I used our awesome Display Albums to hold the calendars so they can be placed on a bookcase or counter top. Here are three of the albums I did for family with the covers altered. I used a new stamp set from the AWESOME Spring 2009 Catalog to create the covers. Each month is created with a theme in mind for that month. Some of the stamps sets used are oldies but goodies! Off to create yet some more of these fun little CELEBRATION CALENDARS!

Christmas gift for a Teacher!

This is the first year I have to create something for one of my children's teachers. This is for my 5 year olds Kindergarten Teacher, Mrs. Norris. I made her a homemade paper pad that says " From the desk of Mrs. Norris" as well as the altered clipboard. For the clipboard I just modge podged the school themed paper onto the clipboard, stamped her name in permanant black ink and sealed it with another coat of modge podge. The paper pad is held together with Elmers glue at the top! Fun, inexpensive gifts!

Modge Podge of Christmas Cards!

Here are a few Christmas cards I've created this year. I just love these little elves. The tree card was created with the help of my 5 year old daughter who kindly used her fingerprints to make up the tree. She enjoys paper crafting as much as I do, and was happy to help make a few of our Christmas cards for this year!
